With Lugano 300, we offer you a reliable and powerful nucleating agent that elevates the quality of your polymers to the next level.
Bern 69 is a multifunctional silane coupling agent used in rubber compounds to improve the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanizates. Bern 69 can significantly improve tensile strength, tear strength and abrasion resistance, and reduce compression set of vulcanizates. It can also reduce viscosity and improve the processability of rubber compounds. The product is particularly suitable for improving the reinforcing properties of fillers containing hydroxyl groups in all unsaturated polymers with double bonds, or their mixtures. Silica, talcum powder, mica powder and clay can be used in combination with Bern 69 in polymers such as NR, IR, SBR, BR, NBR and EPDM.
Lucerne VA7 is a Sulfur donor for natural and synthetic rubbers. It can be used either as a full or partial replacement for sulfur and Thiuram and DTDM Sulfur donors in EV and Sime EV vulcanization systems. It is particularly well suited for the vulcanization of chlorinated rubber such as Chlorobutyl and Polychloroprene. It can be used with most typical rubber accelerators and Sulfur. When used as a partial replacement for Sulfur, it tends to improve the dispersion of other additives in the rubber.
Basel 168 is a phosphite antioxidant (secondary antioxidant) that acts as a peroxide decomposer, protects the polymer already during processing and ensures color retention of organic polymers susceptible to oxidation. By mixing with different primary antioxidants, the result in the final product can be further improved.
Basel 1425 is a phosphorus‐containing phenolic antioxidant with a high molecular weight and high extraction resistance. The product is stable to light and has good colour retention. It is a highly effective, non‐discolouring stabilizer for plastics, synthetic fibres, elastomers, adhesives, waxes, oils and fats. It protects these substrates from thermo‐oxidative degradation.
Resina 102 line are Pentaerythritol ester products from natural rosin with excellent colour stability. They provide an excellent adhesive performance and have a broad polymer compatibility. They have therefore a wide-ranging field of use in EVA and rubber composites, high resistance varnishes, road marking and hotmelt or a variety of different adhesives applications.
Resina 3085 is a glycerol ester, based on fully hydrogenated gum rosin. The high stabilisation of the gum rosin offers a wide range of compatibility and a great resistance to oxidation and discoloration caused by heat and aging. The porduct is available in partially or fully hydrogenated form.
Resina 117 is a polymerized gum rosin with a high softening point. The special characteristics are achieved by dimerizing the acid components of the gum rosin. The product can be used as tackifier in hot melts, solvent‐based adhesives, and dispersion adhesives, as binders in inks and lacquers or in soldering pastes. Polymerized gum rosin furthermore shows a good polymer‐compatibility and because it may be dissolved in water, it is also suitable for aqueous systems.
